He says, in the opening verse of this third chapter, Philippians 3:1a Finally, my brethren, rejoice in [what?] the Lord. You just have to rejoice in the Lord. You can’t rejoice in a lot of things with which we’re surrounded: the negatives with which we’re engulfed by the periodicals, the news media or anything else. We’ve got to rejoice in the Lord. And the only way you’re ever going to rejoice in the Lord is to keep your head in the Word. You’ve got to study the Word. You’ve got to read the Word. You’ve got to put on this Word of God in your mind. Otherwise, you’re going to be rejoicing in the rest of the stuff you’re reading, listening to, or looking at. Rejoice in the Lord.
