And I believe I can understand a little bit of why Paul's love went out to Timothy. You see, the Christian walk is often alone somewhat. As far as a true follower of the Lord Jesus Christ is concerned. The reason it's a lonesome walk is because of the commitment that you have made. You have made the commitment of follow Him, the Lord Jesus Christ, without any holds barred, so to speak. And this is why in some time in your life, in your communicate in your environment, you may find that the greatness of this Christian walk is a very lonesome mark as the Apostle Paul discovered in his life. The reason he loved Timothy so much, is because there are few people who continue to stand with a man of God faithfully in cooperation and love over a period of years. It is easy to stand with someone for two months or three months. It's like usually when the prime minister comes, you give him a reception when he comes, and then you just wish him farewell when he goes away. And it's in the process of the first year. They're real good feeding him on chicken and then they get lower down on the hog on the ham on the hawks and a few other places. And if they keep going much slower than that to get below. But you see. It is really something when you're studied the word and you see how Paul's love went out to Timothy and Timothy's love to Paul, because Timothy stood with the Apostle Paul through thick and thin.
