As I have told you many many times that the book of Galatians was written to Correct the doctrinal layer that had crept into the church, because of the failure of adherence to the revelation, given in the book of Romans, the Romans comes and then Corinthians and then Galatians, Corinthians corrects the practical error that has crept into the church, while Galatians corrects the doctrinal layer, your first practice there, after you've practiced it, then you make it a doctrine. And then you get other people to try to follow that doctrine. Here in the fifth chapter of the book of Galatians, we have one of the greatest records addressed to the church to correct some doctrinal error. And the doctrinal era that it is set forth to correct is the idea of the works of man, putting him in good stead and standing him before God in righteousness and holiness. Later he completed his work for the Doctor of Theology degree. Dr. Wierwille taught the first class on Power for Abundant Living in 1953.
