Bond of Prayer
II Thessalonians 2:15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. That’s all we have to do. We have to stand fast. And that word, “stand fast,” is not the negative, defensive type of standing fast. It is “a positive action of standing or staying put continuously.” Not continually, ‘cause continually we’d be hot one day and cold the next. But it is to stay put, stand fast. The word that’s used there in the Greek as well as the Estrangelo Aramaic means “stand fast.”
