It is harder—and far more beautiful—to choose it in the middle of an ordinary day. Romans 5:5 says, “the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” Notice where the verse begins. It does not ask you to manufacture God’s love from an empty heart. God gives. We receive. Then what has been placed within us can take shape in the way we think, speak, and act.
