a real true and vital spiritual relationship. The word godliness here is just the opposite of religion. Religion is cold, callous, hard, devilish. Atrocities are performed in the name of religion. Love is the performance of this vital spiritual relationship and that word godliness means this vital spiritual relationship, that we may live a quiet and peaceable life in our vital spiritual relationship. Honesty = with gravity or dignified seriousness. Now you see, that is real neat, in all godliness and honesty, dignified seriousness. Can you imagine that? I think that was the thing I was trying to say Sunday night regarding right after Stacey Bowen finished. This is what I was after. In our ministry, because it is the ministry of His Word, you must always carry that dignified seriousness. Now that doesn't say long-facedness.
